PROJECTIONS AND MEETING WITH ANGELIKA MARKUL AND ERIC LORIGNY FROM CNES

Trilogy: The memory of glaciers - Mir - BepiColombo

WEDNESDAY 3 OCTOBER 2018, TO 19H30

Angelika Markul presents for the first time in France her trilogy which reveals three states and stages of human history, from its origin to its disappearance. The memory of glaciers, the heart of the exhibition Tierra Del Fuego presented at the museum, recounts the tragic collapse of a glacier in southern Patagonia and opens with the discovery of comet Churiumov-Guérassimenko which could contain an explanation of the origin of life on earth. Mir explores the earth's abysses dug by man and BepiColombo, space conquest.

At the end of the screening, the artist and the head of CNES's FIMOC (French Instrument Mars Operation Center) will confront these images of creations and destruction caused by man leading to his own loss in the state of the Martian research that leads to better understand the creation of the world, what we are made of and how we were created.
