THE MONKEY STANDING SHOWS HIS SHOW

THE PHILOSOPHICAL ANIMAL

WEDNESDAY 6 APRIL, AT 19H30

"SNAP" CONFERENCE WITH ETIENNE BIMBENET

Are we out of the animal kingdom? Are we separated from what we call the "beasts" by a difference of degree or nature? What do we lose from childhood to adulthood of our unconditional love for animals? The debated questions are placed at the intersection of philosophical discourse and inspired gestures, and the reflection is not without risks of slipping on the relations both intimate and contrasting between man and animal.

In the second part of this moving conference, the public will be invited to speak. He will in turn be involved in this very embodied debate.

Staging: Jade Duviquet
With: Etienne Bimbenet, philosopher,
Cyril Casmèze, “zoomorphic” acrobat actor
