LAUNCH OF THE BILLEBAUDE JOURNEY 13 ISSUE

The small animal conference

WEDNESDAY 21 NOVEMBER 2018, TO 19H30

In partnership with IUCN France (International Union for the Conservation of Nature). With Florian Kirchner, ecologist at IUCN France, Clémence Prieur, artist, and Thibault Moutin, actor and lighting designer. A small conference offered by the b-Ateliers association and the Billebaude review.

What is biodiversity ? Is it serious to see a species disappear? Can we save them all? And how to choose? The sloth bear, the platypus and the bees, of course. The palm kernel stick insect and rockhopper penguins, too. And all those whose role is essential for ecosystems. But what about animals that don't seem cute, funny or useful to us?

Imagined as a café-debate, this small conference on animals attempts to answer the questions we ask ourselves about the preservation of species - from the simplest to the most complex.
