Performance evening imagined by Théo Mercier

Night at the Museum

Wednesday 12 June 2019, at 19h30

Facebook event

Echoing his personal exhibition EVERY STONE SHOULD CRY, Théo Mercier composes an evening of three continuous performances, inviting artists and regular collaborators to animate with him the spaces of the Museum of Hunting and Nature. While Marlène Saldana and Jonathan Drillet reenact the scene of the auction of the show The Girl of the Collector in one of the ceremonial rooms of the museum, the choreographer Steven Michel offers a personal version of the famous Afternoon of a fauna Vaslav Nijinski. At the same time, in the museum's courtyard, the DEEP WATER performance takes place, a subtle blend of Arthur Hoffner's designer work and Grégoire Schaller's body creation.
