“With sound, we are transported to the world we are listening to. That's why I say I hit my head when I want to get into a mouse hole. After a while, you live with what you do. We stay there face down. We forget our own size and we live with what is happening. »Knud Viktor (1925-2013) is Danish and it is at the beginning of the 1960s that he settles in the south of the Luberon.
For nearly 50 years, he records the rustling of the world and the beings who share this microcosm with him. Very early on, he witnessed the destruction of ecosystems. Capturing forces that combine in the process. Amplify, by sampling, slowing down, repetition of sensations. A dive into the thrilling and vibrating world of Knud Viktor: the evening will begin in the rooms of the museum with an immersive journey through his sounds and images, followed by the screening of a documentary in progress and a discussion.
