INTERNATIONAL DAYS

Cabinets of curiosities of the 21st century

TUESDAY 3 AND WEDNESDAY 4 OCTOBER 2017

Based on the dialogue between researchers (anthropologists, historians, sociologists, philosophers), artists and professionals (curators, restorers, documentalists, archivists, managers), a quarterly seminar identified the outlines of a new approach to the museum institution, characterized by paying attention to the practices of "attention", to the imaginary of objects, and their modes of exposure.
The two study days of October 3 and 4 are organized as part of the funded research project by the Labex CAP which benefits the Museum of Arts and Crafts (Cnam) and the HICSA (University Paris 1- Panthéon-Sorbonne).
