THE FOREST
2014 AUTUMN
Last refuge of the savage? Who still inhabits the forest today? Hunters, last trappers, engineers, foresters and biologists are passing through. The last peoples who inhabit it are threatened with extinction. The forest is, as opposed to civilization, the place of the savage, a term derived from the Latin "silvaticus", made for the forest. But is this border so relevant? If it keeps, symbolically its mysterious and foreign character, the forest is largely shaped and exploited by the men.
